Although the outdoor festival season has come to an end, October brings with it an extraordinary event that will steal the hearts of all lovers of Halloween and electronic music. Already on 28 October, Trick or Beat will take place - Poland's largest festival with a post-apocalyptic theme, which uniquely weaves together the spirit of Halloween and the extraordinary architecture of the Centennial Hall. This gem of modernism, known for its unusual geometry and reinforced concrete haunches, will become an arena for unforgettable artistic experiences. This is not only a musical event, but also a journey through the world of futurism, acceptance and unification. The festival reveals a full line-up of artists who will perform on three different stages, opening up the full spectrum of electronic music to you.

The festival is getting closer and closer and the organisers are revealing all the cards. The latest artists to close out the event's line-up are Aksamit & Macewicz, Ane, GIGEE, Michal Zietara, SARAPATA and Titia. Over the 12 hours of the festival, more than 20 artists on 3 scenes. However, what sets TOB apart from other events the most is the fact that the the line-up features mostly women, the organisers decided, to put one of the scenes in 100% in their hands

Aksamit & Macewicz

Musically, Aksamit has shaped herself towards deep and hypnotic sounds that change with the mood and sense of the moment. A resident of Wrocław's Ciało, she is the founder of the Affekt agency and the Velvet Vortex series. Macewicz has been active as a DJ since 2006. He is a resident of Wrocław's Ciało club. He has performed at numerous festivals and events devoted to electronic and experimental music.

Dj/producer of electronic music, lives in northern Poland where, surrounded by the Tuchola Forest, she creates electronic music with a wide range of uses (performance, video-art, dance performances, 3D mapping). In her productions, she uses recordings of ambient sounds, which she combines with the sound of synthesisers and ethnic and folk instruments from various corners of the world.

In July, she made her debut on Joris Voorn's Spectrum label, a milestone that harmonised seamlessly with her recent tour of India, following a series of thrilling performances at European festivals and clubs. The Polish-born, Paris-based producer's 2019 debut EP 'Reborn Pulse' released by Katermukke put her in the spotlight, ranking high in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno Top 100 within days. Her versatile music has entertained audiences around the world with support from artists such as Solomun, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, ARTBAT, Joris Voorn, Sven Vath, Charlotte de Witte, Raxon, Magdalena, Nora en Pure and Township Rebellion.

Michal Zietara

He honed his technique in clubs and discos in southern Germany before moving to Berlin, the capital of techno music. This is where it all began in earnest. He found his place in the legendary club "Zur wilden Renate", where he was a resident and regularly organised parties. He recently became a resident at the newly refreshed RSO, formerly Griessmühle.

SARAPATA combines many extremes, as well as experiences gained on different parts of the musical journey. The music of this duo provides an enormous amount of sensations that make you dance and are like an introduction to a ritual. Techno performed by the Sarapata brothers is far from banal. It is a colourful, rich, organic and pulsating sound.

Titia honed her signature style behind the decks in the Trouw basement during the last days of the now legendary venue. Her sets, always timeless, defined by basic swing and with plenty of rawness, earned her a residency at the famous 'old-school' LGBTQIA+ party, Is Burning. Since then, her music has been captivating more clubbers at venues such as Panoramabar and ∄ Kyiv, Dutch clubs and festivals such as De School and Zeezout, as well as many venues across Europe and beyond.
